About Kirkland Mastery
Marna has tutored students in math since she was 17 years old. She has an infectious love of math and the strong desire to see all children succeed.
Marna can help your child overcome hindrances to math
After graduating from from University of Washington in 1988 with a Nuclear
Engineering Degree, Marna spent the next 10 years assessing risk for nuclear power plants and
nuclear waste systems. She also taught GRE and LSAT prep courses through
University of Washington and tutored SAT/GRE and LSAT preparation.
Marna currently teaches math classes for Homeschool co-ops such as Homeschool Connections. She
homeschooled her two wonderful children.
As the mother of a child with special
needs, Marna is particularly suited both in temperament and understanding to
help children who learn in different ways.
Jill has a Master's Degree in Mathematics, from Stevens
Institute of Technology. After college, Jill worked in the statistics department
for JBS Associates. She has homeschooled seven children, and taught at Classical Conversations in addition to tutoring for KMM. Jill is patient and kind and loves to see students succeed in every math endeavor.
